We saw a bunch of people walking out of a door on Chung King – the walking street in LA’s Chinatown. Except the spot didn’t look like a gallery, but rather a stairwell leading up to an apartment complex or something like that. Up for adventure and still running high off of the adrenaline of seeing a bunch of fantastic works along the road, we decided to go upstairs to see what was going on. It was then that we reached the top to discover an exhibit on display named Hot White Flesh Ties, which showcased abstract paintings by 5 New York artists along the space’s livable wooden floors and lounge areas.
