Louis Verdad unveiled his spring/summer fashion line for 2012 in a an intimate space on Melrose Avenue. Guests were greeted by complimentary cupcakes from Sprinkles, which were absolutely delicious and got everyone into an elevated mood. And it seemed like it was almost out of respect for Verdad’s incredible show that the fierce winds which had been striking down on the city the day before politely allowed one of the most beautiful afternoons in LA’s history to commence for the duration of the event. The crowd took their seats and one by one the models strode down the runway with incredible attitude – truly becoming the gowns they wore. I know my eyes got especially wide with excitement when when a model strutted out in a fierce red one-piece with gracefully flowing pants. I didn’t want the show to end – there was real emotion in each movement that the fabric made. Verdad is a true maestro, bravo!
