Event – Gal-loween – Royal/T
I don’t really understand what Gal-loween means, but there were a ton of people dressed up in wild outfits at Royal/T for the event put on by Tune In Tokyo. Incredibly, an actual J-pop star named Mooma flew in from Japan to play a live set. She sang and did cute dance moves with her umbrella while anime videos played on a screen across from her. But, my favorite moment was when randomly, a giant dressed as the red power ranger, walked right in front of me and began to do the robot. It was honestly one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a really long time and he had everyone giggling. After Mooma’s set, there was a short intermission which was followed by a kawaii fashion show. If you want to do something totally different and fun in Los Angeles, be sure to stay tuned for Tune In Tokyo’s next event.
