Reed Seifer’s exhibit at ART PLATFORM was easily my favorite in the entire show. And why is that you may ask? It’s simple, an attractive woman in his booth handed me a free dollar bill signed by the artist – how cool is that! I actually got paid to look at and take home a piece of work with me!!! The booth was a white cubicle with no table with a tall woman wearing stockings in the corner holding a clipboard. There was a manilla envelope on the ground with dollar bills coming out of it and each dollar bill was signed by the artist Reed Seifer, who also had prints of his work on the surrounding walls. When I asked the woman how many dollars they were going to give away today, she told me only 18, so I feel extremely lucky.
